What Exactly Does EzyAnalyser Do?

It achieves what much more expensive overseas competitors have half-heartedly attempted - the ability to scan the market for trading opportunities at the push of a button.

It allows traders to scan their database of stocks and find any stock that is performing to technical analysis criteria that they have set. You do not even have to scan the entire database, you can make selections such as subgroups of industrial stocks, mining stocks, gold stocks, or a customised sub section of your choice. You can find any stock at any time that conforms to criteria that you set. I.e. Find any stock that has crossed a 30 day moving average in the last five days, or any stock where volume has increased by more than 20% and has traded more than 1,000,000 shares. The examples are limitless and are easily written. Better yet, a complete set of analysis scans are already pre-written for you, including all the popular price break strategies and some pattern recognition.

1,2,3,4 Push Button Simple
Just select the four buttons and you have successfully analysed the market for stocks you wished to find.

Select Stocks
You need to select stocks (options, futures) to analyse. This button is designed to select all stocks for the pass, but you can specify a sub-set if you wish. You can, at the push of a button, select all new stocks that have listed in the last (user defined) period such as 30 days or 12 months. You can also select by industrial group such as gold, other metals, solid fuels, etc.. Of course you can have your own custom groups that you can select as well. Many clients enter their own portfolios into EzyAnalyser as a custom group to perform further analysis on.

Select Criteria BUY/SELL
You of course, need to select the criteria you want to find stocks on. One of the powerful new features of 2 EzyAnalyser is the ability to analyse the market with pre-written analysis criteria. You have a range of popular buy and sell criteria to choose from including popular trading strategies like: break above a single moving average, volume spike, break over two moving averages, crossing MACD, breaking up through over-sold on RSI etc.. You also have some basic pattern recognition such as gap up, pivot point reversal, and candle stick patterns such as Gravestone Dojo, White Umbrella, Long Marubozu etc.. You can even identify Gann pivot points for buy and sell criteria. EzyAnalyser still has the original facility to write your own criteria using any of the indicators and oscillators available in EzyChart. You can add to the list of pre-written criteria with your ability to create completely custom criteria such as:

Find any stock that has increased in volume by more than 10% in the last week and the price is the lowest it has been in a year and volume is greater than 200,000 shares and the price is less than $2.00 and the RSI is below 30% but higher than it was yesterday.

This criteria is just one of thousands of precise analysing criteria that you could write yourself. Obviously combining criteria like this can give you, as a trader, almost infinite flexibility to find stocks that you are interested in.

Analyse Stocks
This is the easiest part of analysing a group of shares. Select this after choosing the group of stocks and how you wish to analyse them and the task will be completed with in a few minutes.Speed is dependent on your CPU and hard disk speed, the number of stocks selected, and the complexity of the criteria.
The ultimate trading weapon
An average 486-100 would analyse 2500 stocks for a break above a 30 day moving average in about 2.5 minutes. The speed of 2 EzyAnalyser is rivaled by any other product in the market. The pre-written buy and sell criteria only add to the versatility of EzyAnalyser.

Show Passed
This feature is greatly enhanced on the original version. It allows you 2 options of viewing passed stocks. You can view the shares that passed your criteria individually by clicking on the relevant code in that list. EzyChart will automatically open with the stock and any relevant technical analysis you used in your criteria such as MACD or Moving Average. You can then close EzyChart and view the next stock. The second feature is far more powerful. It allows you to save all passed stocks as live charts directly into EzyChart. You can then open EzyChart and use the "Autoview Live Charts function”.

Other Features

  • Change Indicator Settings
  • EzyAnalyser defaults to EzyChart settings when using any EzyChart technical analysis indicator.
  • The best trading tool available - it's easy to use, lightning quick, and deadly accurate. Eg. you wish to find any stock that has broken above a moving average in the last five days - the moving average will be the same as the first moving average you have set in EzyChart. Now you can change the indicator settings in EzyAnalyser with a push of a button and you can even save the new values into EzyChart as the defaults if you desire.
  • Market Statistics This is a powerful NEW reporting feature in EzyAnalyser that is not available in any other technical analysis program. It allows you to scan a set of stocks such as a sector (i.e. gold, other metals), and view the market statistics including:
    • Total Volume
    • No. Stocks Traded
    • No. Stocks Up
    • No. Stocks Down
    • No. Steady Closes
    • Average Dollar Turnover
    • No. Stocks Steady
    • No. Higher Closes
    • No. Lower Closes

The Market Statistics are an invaluable tool to quickly find out what is really going on in the market. All to often we base decisions on what an index (like the All Ordinaries Index) is doing when that index is not a true reflection of the market. Market Statistics gives you the ability to find out factual information on markets or market segments that you require.

Advance Decline Index
EzyAnalyser has the facility to produce an Advance Decline Index that can be interpreted as a chart in EzyChart. This means that you can produce a custom index of your own. This is ideal if you wish to compare your portfolio with the entire market or a section of the market. It can also be used to find valuable information from hidden market sectors i.e. an Advance Decline of all Put Options can yield interesting information against the All Ordinaries Index and an Advance Decline on all SFE All Ordinaries contracts yields some interesting information on the current SPI contract. These are but two examples of the use of this powerful feature.
